The philosophy here at Lil' Explorers is based on the belief that all children share individual needs and have a drive to be self-confident self-motivated individuals, seeking out an understanding of the world around them.

The goal is to provide a safe, educationally and socially enriching environment in which children can learn to be self confident away from home.

In addition, my goal is to provide the children at Lil Explorers Home Daycare with a learning environment that will empower children and enhance self-esteem and growth and development, by creating an atmosphere where social, emotional, physical and cognitive development can take place. The learning environment is reinforced by providing a variety of activities and experiences which will allow each child to be creative, to discover, and to solve problems at their individual level.

My effort is directed towards nurturing creativity, self-esteem through such activities as block building, clay modeling, sand and water play, theater/puppet shows, experimentation such as baking, gardening etc, arts and crafts.

Through these “hands on” activities, children are introduced to concepts in math, reading and language. Keeping in mind the consistency in plenty of hugs and cuddles throughout the day to nurture and provide tender love and care so all children can feel at home…away from home at Lil Explores Home Daycare.
